We provide access to our application to Scouts solely in the context of our contractual relationship with the Club, League, or similar organisation(our “Client”) that they represent. This applies regardless of whether the Scout is directly employed by the organisation or engaged as an independent contractor providing services on its behalf.
ai.io does not have access to the information that the Client organisation holds regarding the Scout, including criminal record checks (known as “DBS Checks” in the UK). ai.io receives Scout information directly from the Scout during the registration process, although it is possible that the Client may provide a list of names and professional email addresses of Scouts to whom they wish us to grant access, in advance of Scout registration.
Scout Registration Process
When we onboard a new Scout, we ask you to provide your name, email address and phone number, as well as a photograph for your profile in the app, which can be a picture of you, your club logo, or another appropriate image.
Using the App
You can search for Players in the app and create a watchlist on the Players tab. You can also inviteParents to connect with you on the app. Your watchlist, connections, and notes will be stored by ai.io either until you delete them individually or you delete your account.
Reporting an issue
If you decide to report an issue from the Scout app, the app will open a new email window in your preferred email service, addressed to our Support Team at support@aiscout.io.
We will use your name, contact details and any other Information you may provide in the email in order to resolve the issue and track its management.
Your Information will be stored on servers located in the UK or European Economic Area and will be retained for upto seven years in our email system. If we engage a service provider outside the UK or EU/EEA, we will put in place measures approved by the ICO that legally binds it to provide to the same level of data protection as is required in the UK.
