If you’re a Player
Your profile
You provide most of the Information we have about you so you can find full details by clicking on the Profile icon in your app. We use this to provide the aiScout service.
In the aiScout app, you’ll find explanations of how we will use the Information we’re asking you to provide at each step of the process – simply click on the question mark icons.
We also keep details of your contact with Scouts, the outcome of trials, images and comments you post on our social media pages, and we may use this in our promotional materials, including on our website, to promote the aiScout services to players and clubs.
If you are over 18, we may offer you the opportunity to receive news and offers from our partners. We will never share your information without your consent, and you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
Your mobile device
We collect the following details from your mobile device when you download and access the app to manage and improve our service and ensure that our app works properly on different devices, operating systems and versions: the type of device and operating system, its IMEI number, IP/MAC address, details of your mobile network, your browser and time zone settings.
Video
We use video recordings that you take of yourself to verify your skill and capability levels.
Location
If you enable location data, we will use this to provide the location-based service or marketing notified to you when you enable the function.
Online and in-app purchases
If you buy products or services from us, we will use your billing and delivery addresses and we will keep a record of your purchase history for accounting and marketing purposes.
Marketing
If you opt-in to receive news, offers, and details of our other products and services, we may also use your contact details to send these to you in your preferred format(s) – e.g. email or SMS. You can stop receiving these communications at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe”link that you will find in the footer of all our marketing emails, or by following the unsubscribe instructions at the end of any marketing SMS.
We will keep detailed records of your marketing preferences in order to ensure that you only receive marketing communications that you want to receive, in the format(s) that you prefer. If you would like to exercise your rights, or have concerns about the way your Information is being handled, please contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO) at dpo@ai.io. We’ll reply straight away and let you know if we need anything else from you.
If you are under 13 you can contact us yourself or ask your guardian or parent to do it for you.
We have to respond to requests without delay and no later than a month. If we take more than a month or if you are unhappy with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
If you’re a Parent
Your contact details
If your child is under 13 and using the aiScout app, we require your email address in order to verify that you consent to your child using the app. We will not use your email address for any other reason unless :
· You opt-in to receive Player Liaison communications
· You opt-in to receive news and offers from us (see “Marketing” section below)
Your mobile device
This section only applies to you if your child is using the aiScout app on your mobile device.
